Flamborough Minor Softball Association
Our house league program plays within the FMSA from early May to mid-August. The FMSA is affiliated with ORSA, the governing body for rural softball in Ontario.
It would be safe to say that softball and baseball have been played in the greater Flamborough area at varying degrees of competitiveness and structure since the late 1800's - early 1900's. The Flamborough Minor Softball Association ("FMSA") is an organization comprised of a number of Centres dedicated to providing softball/baseball programs for surrounding communities, many of which are long standing FMSA members.
Member Centres include, Alexander Park, Ancaster, Caledonia, Carlisle, Copetown, Dundas GSL, Dundas Running Rebels, Fisherville, Freelton, Greensville, Hagersville, Jarvis, Jerseyville, Lynden, Millgrove, Oneida, Onondaga, Puslinch, Rockwood, Sheffield, Six Nations, Smithville, St. George, Strabane, Waterdown.
The FMSA has evolved over the years and has always remained flexible.....meeting and adapting to the needs of its member Centres and offers a very viable, competitive, house league environment where "everyone that signs up plays." The FMSA has grown to become a structured organization, which is governed by an evolving and detailed Constitution.
