Midgets Take Gold In St. Kitts

Ancaster Blizzard Midgets brought back the gold from St. Catharines this weekend. Despite some tough moments the girls rallied when necessary and went undefeated 4 - 0 in Round Robin play Friday and Saturday. Sunday morning the girls played Port Perry in the semi final game and came away with a 7-3 win. Advancing to the final the bats really came alive and Ancaster clinched the Gold Medal with a 10 - 0 win over Cambridge. In the Bronze Medal game Port Perry triumphed over Oakville. Good job Ladies. The girls will be in Toledo Ohio next weekend doing their best to repeat their Gold Medal performance from 2009.

Ancaster Girls Fastpitch Softball is a comprehensive softball program based in the greater Hamilton, Ontario area. We are affiliated with the local Little League allowing for a range of recreational and competitive teams for girls 5-19 years of age. Our program runs year round offering numerous skills clinics throughout the fall and winter in our local gyms.
