In 1793 a number of settlers from the new United States petitioned the authorities to be confirmed in their lands (on which they had squatted for several years), in the area of what is now Ancaster.

Our Town, Our Teams
Ancaster, Ontario, Canada
The old town of Ancaster is located on the western end of Lake Ontario and is a part of the amalgamated City of Hamilton. We are located less than one hour from Toronto and one and one half hours from Buffalo. Our league provides recreational and competitive opportunities to players in the greater Hamilton and surrounding areas. We have operated continuously in service to our youth since 1957.
